VNNETZERO is a multilingual environmental science communication channel developed and operated within the 2026 environmental protection task of Vietnam National University, Hanoi: “Developing and implementing a multilingual environmental protection communication model to support the NETZERO goal at Vietnam National University, Hanoi”.
Management and implementation information:
The VNNETZERO website serves as an official information channel, connected with social media platforms and the communication network of Youth Union units across Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
VNNETZERO was established to provide scientific information and standardize science communication knowledge on Net Zero, carbon management, environmental protection and sustainable development.
The channel contributes to the overall objective of the task: establishing and operating a multilingual environmental science communication model combined with digital platforms, thereby raising awareness, encouraging green behaviour and strengthening carbon-management capacity among staff and students; contributing to the Net Zero pathway and sustainable development of Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
Specific objectives include:
VNNETZERO currently provides content in five languages:
Content is presented through scientific articles, news, reference materials, infographics, posters, science videos, short videos, podcasts and other multimedia communication products.
The VNNETZERO website is the central content hub. Social media channels and the linked communication network introduce, share and expand the reach of information to different audiences.

Content is developed by synthesizing relevant laws, policies, standards, scientific literature and professional information sources. Terminology and data are reviewed during preparation before publication.
VNNETZERO operates according to the following principles:
The School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts is the lead institution responsible for implementing the task and operating VNNETZERO within the assigned scope. Coordinating bodies participate in communication, technology and community-engagement activities according to the task content, plan and division of responsibilities.
Information published on VNNETZERO falls within the scope of the environmental protection task. Any extraction, quotation or reuse of content must clearly credit VNNETZERO and comply with relevant regulations.
